Welcome to Montreal! Bienvenue à Montréal!

Montreal is a great city, we’re sure that you will enjoy your time in this multi cultural city with two spoken languages French and English.

I (Carol) and my husband (Henry) would be delighted to host you in our home.
We’re a retired warm and friendly, French and English speaking, Canadian family of two, with Polish and Ukrainian roots; in our fifties. 

We live in the Greater Montreal area (South Shore of Montreal) in a very clean, safe and quiet family home in a residential neighbourhood. Our house is located bus stop steps away from our door that brings you to the heart of downtown Montreal in 20 to 25 minutes and to Concordia, McGill or most downtown languages schools.

We have two bright, clean, private rooms. Both of the rooms can be shared by two friends or a couple. Bedrooms have either Double or Queen Size bed. All rooms are very nicely furnished (desk, chair, dresser, large closet, night table, lamp, TV, hand free phone) included free wireless High Speed Internet as well as free local phone. Linens are provided. Clothes are washed and dried or free laundry facilities; as you wish. You share the upstairs bathroom with one other student. During summer, you can enjoy the in ground swimming pool, backyard deck. We also have at your disposal bicycles and golf equipment.

We live with an overly friendly and affectionate Golden Retriever (Balzac) and a very shy cat ( Peru) that usually stays out of everyone’s way.
  
Vegetarians and carnivores can both be accommodated. We’re a food loving family and enjoy cooking. I have the reputation to be an excellent cook and Henry a good cook!!

We love sharing our home and have had many years experience with International students, many of whom we still remain in contact with. Students have come from Germany, Brazil, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. You can interact with us as much as you like in order to improve your French or English or both of them during your stay. We enjoy sharing our Canadian culture with you and learning about yours. We find it a very fulfilling experience. We’re committed to provide students or guests with ongoing support during their stay.

Two (2)Canadian meals offered a day (breakfast and dinner).

Payment is 700$ Canadian on a every 4 week period.
